I’m a writer and broadcaster, who’s produced reports from Italy, Australia, South Sudan and the UK.
I’ve taken a lot of journeys in my life.
Born in Italy, I emigrated to Australia when I was five years old, and it feels like I’ve never stopped travelling since.
I’ve lived in Sydney, Melbourne and elsewhere in Australia; London, Rome, Florence and Lyon in Europe, just to name a few. I’ve even spent six months in Juba.
I’ve made some dramatic career moves as well. After practicing briefly as a lawyer, I took up journalism and this my 19th year wielding a pen.
What have I learnt? Throw yourself into every new experience. Don’t forget the lessons you’ve learnt, but leave the past behind. Embrace the new for what it teaches you and how much stronger it leaves you. And give thanks for your blessings, no matter how small.
